Jon called us from the airport at 6:30 a.m. All of us got a chance to talk to him--he sounded good! He flew to Birmingham, Alabama--all by himself, and arrived safely. The following is an email we received from his new mission president:
We have Elder Hooke safe and sound! He is pictured with President and Sister Holzapfel and with the two assistants, Elder Cooley and Canevari (he will be working with them for a few days).
